1. Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented software tester to join our team at our audio-plugin and virtual instrument company. The software tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our audio-plugins and virtual instruments by performing thorough testing and providing feedback to the development team. This includes creating and executing test plans, identifying and reporting bugs, and working with the development team to ensure all issues are resolved before release. The software tester will also be responsible for maintaining and updating the test library, and staying up to date with industry best practices for software testing.

2. Must-have Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing, specifically for audio-plugins or virtual instruments
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
  • Experience creating and executing test plans
  • Experience identifying and reporting bugs
  • Experience with audio testing and quality assurance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report issues
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

3. Nice to have Requirements

  • Experience with audio software development
  • Knowledge of scripting or coding for test automation
  • Experience with different operating systems and platforms
  • Experience with test management tools such as the gitlab issue tracker.

  • We're located in Berlin, Germany.
  • Currently the position is remote but we may be able to provide office space in the future
